Nestled into its sloping Mount Martha site, Kross House by FIGR Architecture Studio appears to float above the rugged coastal landscape. Drawing inspiration from traditional fibro beach shacks, directors Michael Artemenko and Adi Atic created a low-scale form with skillion roofs and deep reveals. Timber defines the material palette, with darker plywood finishes allowing the surrounding landscape to take precedence within the interior.
