Meet the Maker: A Morning with Xirix

Last Sunday, to mark the arrival of Xirix's collection at Jardan, we hosted an intimate breakfast and workshop with Zoe Lannan, the maker behind the brand, at our Adelaide showroom.
Zoe is a self-taught Adelaide ceramicist who built her practice around the belief that when objects are made with intention, they can bring beauty to the everyday. Her pieces are shaped slowly by hand, made to be used, treasured, and passed on.
Welcoming local creators and friends of Jardan, the morning began with a chance to explore the latest homewares collection before settling in for a Scandinavian-style breakfast curated by Made by Mandy.
Guests were treated to local artisan sourdough, cardamom buns and comté cheese, and invited to move through the showroom as they ate and connected, fostering a more relaxed way of gathering.
The morning continued with a handbuilding workshop led by Zoe, where guests delved into her design language and techniques while crafting their own take on a Xirix decorative dish.
Everyone departed with a Jardan tote bag and a deeper appreciation for the craft.
