Interwoven: Craft, Film and Conversation at Melbourne Design Week
21.05.26
On Tuesday evening, we had the pleasure of hosting the launch of Interwoven: Motions of Passage, as part of Melbourne Design Week 2026. Guests arrived to drinks courtesy of Clover Wine and the smell of fresh popcorn, before moving through the new space, transformed into an immersive exhibition.
Guests explored the collection up close, from the rugs to the makers that brought Interwoven to life in India, before settling in with hot dogs and caviar to watch the campaign short film.
The evening continued with a conversation hosted by Millie Thwaites, Editor of The Local Project, with Creative Director Renee Garnham, Design Manager Elle Stephenson and Director of Photography Tavis Pinnington, reflecting on the design, craftsmanship and cultural exchange behind the making of Interwoven.
Late-night sweet treats from Hector's Deli rounded out the night.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of craft, film and conversation.
The exhibition runs from 19 May to 14 June at our Richmond showroom, open during working hours.
