Care

In order to prolong the life of your leather, we recommend you have it protected by our trusted partners in fabric protection and cleaning - Premium Surface Protection (PSP). Visit their dedicated Jardan client page at Premium Surface Protection for expert assistance with any questions you may have. Please note that fabric protection methods can vary widely in their effectiveness as well as their environmental impact. The methods and products used by PSP are the only ones endorsed by Jardan. The use of an alternative method would void your leather warranty.

Direct sunlight may cause colour change and aging of your fabric, for best performance we recommend positioning your furniture out of direct UV light and reflected light sunlight. Rotate cushions regularly where possible so fabric shows even wear and light exposure.

Leather is a natural product characterised by the unique tone and individual markings that the animal has acquired during its life which may include creases and stretchmarks, scars and insect bites.

Some softening and stretching of the leather is to be expected with use.

To clean marks and spills a damp white cotton cloth should be used adding, only when necessary, a solution made with particularly delicate products such as mild pure soap. Avoid rubbing the leather surface, spills should be dabbed off proceeding from the edge to the centre. Do not use harsh or abrasive products, steam or products for leather shoes.  Once cleaning is completed the surface needs to be dried using a soft dry clean cloth.

We recommend Professional cleaning and it is advisable to test products on a hidden part of the furniture before using them on exposed zones, to ensure they will not damage the leather.

Please note that dye transfer can occur when dye is transferred from an outside source on to upholstery fabric. For example: Unwashed new dark coloured denim or raw indigo garments.

Please Note

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the colours depicted on our website of materials and products accurately reflect the way they appear in person, Jardan advises that there may be variation between these due to a combination of factors including computer monitor, screen settings and lighting as well as a level of true variation in the products themselves. We work with many natural materials as well as handmade artisan products where a level of variation is to be expected and celebrated. It is therefore recommended that you view products in person prior to ordering where possible, or request swatches and additional information from our sales teams.
